Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility Service Continuity in a Cross-Border Multi-Access Edge Computing Federation Scenario

چکیده

The paradigm shift in transportation systems towards Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM) aims to improve vehicle maneuverability, reduce pollution, increase safety. CCAM is primarily responsible for ensuring the best mobility environment, making it one of main trends automotive industry. However, taking advantage Cross-Border Corridors (CBCs) faces many challenges, which go beyond infrastructure deployment cost, all are related supporting Service Continuity (SC) mobile users, especially light diversity territories, network coverage areas, international roaming agreements, type cooperative maneuvers. As a solution these paper proposes implements new architecture SC CBCs that combines federation Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) concepts maintain SC.
